Dr. Maren Gube helps organizations understand the intimate connections between innovation, inclusion, and the contextual social emotions rooted in culture. Her blend of executive experience and PhD inquiry brings new perspectives to leaders and her research findings about why women leave Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields have earned several awards, including 1st prizes from both the jury and the attendees at the Gender Summit North America (2017).
Connecting the dots between her research on creative thinking in STEM and her prior career experiences as the first female executive in a large manufacturing organization, she went on to earn certifications in psychological safety and in fostering healthy emotional cultures in teams. She uses evidence-based approaches and her in-depth knowledge of human learning to help teams unravel invisible systemic threats.
As a sought-after speaker, trainer, and workshop leader, Maren supports teams, leaders, and organizations in developing fearless collaborative cultures that invite everyone to belong, learn, and innovate. In addition to direct training and consulting, she has experience training trainers and teaching teachers.
Maren earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University, and MEd and PhD (Educational Psychology, Learning Sciences) degrees from McGill University.
